Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the petirah of Rebbetzin Chana Hershkowitz a”h, the wife of Rav Meir Hershkowitz zt”l, who supported and stood by him for decades as he was Marbitz Torah in America as Rosh Yeshiva of Bais Binyomin (Stamford) and one of the premier geniuses in the world of Torah learning. She was 90 years old.
Rebbetzin Hershkowitz a”h, along with her husband, was a resident of Lakewood for the past several years.
The levaya is scheduled to take place at 9 PM Wednesday evening at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with a second to take place at 10 AM Thursday morning at the Yeshiva, 51 Carlton Road in Monsey.
Kevurah will take place in Eretz Yisroel.
