It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of R’ Zvi Tuvya Kitay z”l, a respected talmid chochom and talmid of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l.
R’ Zvi Tuvia was born in 1951 in Spring Valley, New York. In 1972, he joined Bais Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, where he learned under Rav Shneur Kotler zt”l. R’ Tzvi resided in Lakewood for many years, leaving an indelible mark on the kehilla before relocating to Yerushalayim in his later years.
The levaya and kevura were held on Thursday in Yerushalayim. Hespedim were delivered by his brother, R’ Yitzchok, his sons—R’ Matisyahu, R’ Moshe, and R’ Boruch Binyomin—and his eldest grandson, who resides in Yerushalayim.
Yehi Zichro Baruch.
