Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the petirah of R’ Ezzy Neuhaus z”l, a familiar and beloved presence in the heart of the town’s yeshiva community, who was niftar at the age of 69.
R’ Ezzy was a longtime resident of the 7th Street and Forest Avenue area, near the main campus of Beth Medrash Govoha, where he became a well-known and respected face among the yungeleit and broader Lakewood community. His quiet presence and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on many.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Mrs. Devorah Neuhaus (née Horowitz), and their children.
The levaya took place at BMG’s Yoshon Bais Medrash, and then at the Lakewood Chapel. Kevurah took place immediately following the levaya in the adjacent bais olam.
The family will be sitting shiva until Wednesday morning at 507 7th Street in Lakewood.
