BD”E: Petirah Of Mrs. Sukey Gross A”H, Longtime Mechaneches And Children’s Book Author

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Mrs. Suki (nee Stavsky) Gross a”h, the wife of R’ Meir Gross of Westgate, and a longtime mechaneches and author of books for children.

She is survived by her husband and her children – her daughters Mrs. Layah Mandelbaum, Mrs. Shaindy Abrahamson, Mrs. Malkie Horowitz, Mrs. Bayla Hersh, Mrs. Avigail Bendkowski, Mrs. Rivky Bernstein, Michal Gross, Shulamis Gross – and her sons: Mordy Gross and Avrami Gross.

She is also survived by for siblings – R’ Yitzchok Stavsky, R’ Yanky Stavsky, Mrs. Penina Feigenbaum, and Mrs. Esti Florans.

The levaya is scheduled to take place at 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue in Lakewood. The kevurah will take place in the adjacent bais olam.

My husband, Rabbi David Aryeh Bachrach, was a long time friend and chavrusa at Chaim Berlin of your grandfather, Rabbi Moshe Gross, who honored us by being the mohel for 5 of our sons, when we lived in Philadelphia and Brookline, MA.
