Rochel Shwekey, a long time Lakewood resident,passed away Sunday evening in West Palm Beach where she resided at 76 years old after. She had a pulmonary embolism which even after removed, led to other complications.
Mrs. Shwekey was born in Czechoslovakia in a DP camp to Holocaust survivors who were Viznitzer chassidim. When she was a child she moved with her family to Eretz Yisroel and later moved to the US.
