Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the petirah of R’ Shmuel Yosef (ben R’ Yehuda) Breskin z”l, a tremendous talmid chochom and longtime Lakewood resident who was niftar over Shabbos. He was 75 years old.
R’ Shmuel z”l, a talmid of Rav Shneur Kotler zt”l at Beth Medrash Govoha, was a son-in-law of Harav Moshe Finkel zt”l, and a brother-in-law of Harav Elya Boruch Finkel zt”l.
The levaya will take place at 2:15 PM today at BMG’s Avreichem bais Medrash, 1001 Clifton Avenue. The family will be sitting shiva at the niftar’s home in Yeshiva Plaza on Forest Avenue.
