Apple Bank To Open New Branch On East Kennedy Blvd. In Lakewood

Apple Bank has unveiled plans to open a new branch in Lakewood in early 2025, marking the latest step in the financial institution’s ongoing geographic expansion. Along with the announcement, the bank introduced John Crisafulli as the branch’s business relationship manager.

The new branch will be located at 140 East Kennedy Boulevard and will become Apple Bank’s third New Jersey location, joining its existing branches in Englewood and Iselin. The addition is part of Apple Bank’s extensive network of 80 branches spanning the greater New York metropolitan area, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, and New Jersey.

“Our expansion into Lakewood perfectly exemplifies both our business strategy and mission,” said Jim Matera, Apple Bank’s chief retail banking officer. “Adding a branch in Lakewood is a natural extension of our footprint and allows us to better serve New Jersey residents and business owners, particularly those who work and do business in New York City and already bank with Apple Bank.”

Apple Bank also announced the hiring of John Crisafulli, a seasoned community banking professional with more than 25 years of experience, as the Lakewood branch’s business relationship manager. Crisafulli previously served as vice president and senior business development officer at First Commerce Bank and has spent the last decade working closely with the Lakewood community.

“It is a great pleasure to join Apple Bank and help lead its newest branch in Lakewood, NJ,” Crisafulli said. “We look forward to building long-term relationships within the community and playing our part as a good corporate citizen. Apple Bank’s wide array of banking services paired with a personalized, local bank connection is an approach I am confident will resonate with Lakewood residents and business owners.”
