Agudas Yisroel’s Zahav Division Introduces New Guidebook For New Jersey Seniors

Agudas Yisroel of America’s New Jersey office is excited to announce the publication of our new guidebook for New Jersey seniors.

New Jersey is home to some of the fastest growing Orthodox Jewish communities in the country. A large component of that growth is due to parents and grandparents who are moving here to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

But moving to a new state means dealing with many new government offices, services and programs, most of which vary greatly from other states.

Launched just several weeks ago under the direction of Agudah’s Director of Senior Services Mrs. Hadassah Waldman, Zahav seeks to fill a void in the community by providing a resource center for New Jersey seniors and their families or caregivers.

In the first few weeks since being established, Zahav has been the address for dozens of seniors or their families.

Now for the first time, seniors in the state who are faced with having to navigate the multiple intricacies of Social Security, Medicare, and various other critical services available for seniors, can have a free and comprehensive resource available to them.

“Aside from providing clarity, this easy-to-read guidebook, contains information on various programs and services which many people may not even be aware exist,” said Mrs. Waldman.

Those interested in obtaining a copy free of charge can contact Zahav at 732–540–1898 or visit the Agudah’s New Jersey office at 1999 Cedar Bridge Ave Suite 3A, Lakewood, New Jersey.
