Agudah Urges Residents To Advocate For The New Jersey Student Support Act

We need your voice.

As you may know, a new tax credit scholarship bill, which has the potential to significantly impact the education landscape in our state, has been introduced in the New Jersey Legislature.

The “New Jersey Student Support Act” (A4144/S3035) aims to help alleviate the high cost of private school tuition by providing scholarships to students from low- and middle-income families, enabling them to attend the schools that best meet their needs, whether public, private, or religious.

Supporters of this bill recognize the importance of empowering families with choice in education. By redirecting a portion of their state taxes to a scholarship organization, individuals and businesses can directly contribute to expanding educational opportunities for our children across New Jersey.

I urge you to join us in expressing our gratitude to the prime and co-sponsors of this bill who have worked tirelessly to help us reach this point by clicking here and filling out the form. Their dedication to improving educational outcomes for all students deserves our appreciation and recognition.

Your voice matters, and by advocating for policies that prioritize education equity, we can create a brighter future for generations to come.

Thank you for taking the time and being an advocate for our children’s futures.

Below is the list of sponsors:

Senator Vin Gopal, Senator Joe Lagana, Senator Paul Sarlo, Assemblywoman Lisa Swain, Assemblyman Gary Schaer, Assemblyman Reverend Reginald Atkins, Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin, Assemblywoman Margie Donlon, Assemblywoman Luanne Peterpaul, Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, Assemblyman Avi Schnall, Assemblyman Julio Marenco, Assemblywoman Rosy Bagolie and Assemblyman Chris Tully.
