After Years of Lawsuits, Jackson Planning Board Approves 3 Private Schools

It took years of legal fights and wrangling, but on Monday night, the Jackson Planning Board officially approved three private schools – two elementary schools and a high school – to be erected in the township.

The vote to approve the schools was unanimous and came after numerous Board hearings from the developer of the project and from experts regarding the schools’ potential impact on the area.

The schools will be located on a large piece of property on Leesville Road, just off West Veterans Highway.
