ADIREI WINS! Philadelphia 76ers Knocked Out Of NBA Playoffs; Maamad Hatorah On As Scheduled

Tens of thousands of yidden are able to breathe a sigh of relief as word spreads that the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team has lost its game 7 match-up against the Boston Celtics 112-88, eliminating them from the playoffs.

Why does it matter? Because if the Sixers had beaten the Celtics in this game, they would have advanced to the next round, which if they had won would have advanced them to the finals, during which a game was scheduled to be played on June 4th – the day that Adirei Hatorah had set as the date for the maamad hatorah in the Wells Fargo Center, where the Sixers play.

With this loss, there is no concern left that the Wells Fargo Center will be used for another event on June 4th, and the maamad hatorah will go on as planned.
