A major asifa was held in the Lakewood High School gym for bochurim and mechanchim to address the growing spiritual challenges posed by rapidly advancing artificial intelligence.
The gathering, held on Sunday evening and attended by approximately 5,000 bochurim, featured addresses from leading rabbanim including Rav Elya Ber Wachtfogel, Rav Elya Brudny, and Rav Ephraim Wachsman, among others. Speakers focused on raising awareness about the potential pitfalls of AI and equipping attendees with the understanding and vigilance needed to navigate the emerging technology responsibly.
The event is part of a broader series of recent asifos addressing the issue. In recent weeks, similar gatherings have been held for rabbanim and mechanchim, as well as a large asifa for women that drew thousands of participants.
