Shomer shmitta farmer Yehuda Alon visited schools in Lakewood ahead of the historic Maamad Shmitta that will take place Tuesday evening.
The farmer gave presentations to the boys about the farming process and the tremendous sacrifices made by farmers to keep shmitta and let their fields lay fallow for an entire year.
